Snow!

Most of the cards I'm making just now seem to have a snowy theme!!! It seems so appropriate at the moment, although I'm sure we'll all be fed up looking at it soon!

I made this card for my DD and her boyfriend - they intend to go skating in Glasgow's George Square tomorrow night so couldn't resist Tilda and Edwin on the ice!

I used wrapping paper for this iris fold shoe. The flower is just gold, but has taken on the reflection of the other colours.

Roulette

Hi, all, lovely to have time to be back on here! Been so busy with Christmas orders haven't had a minute. The last two weeks have been a real nightmare with snow, so hopefully there won't be too much more!

Today's card is for a casino buff. I made it into an easel card and put a little pile of chips on his birth date!

Footballers' Card

Hi, up to the knees in snow here today, lovely to look out at and sit in the warm and craft! lol

Made 15 of these cards for a girls' football team to send to their sponsors. Their colours are pink, black and white so they should go down well I hope!

Tilda on Presents

Hi, all, it seems ages since I've been on here! I've been really busy with card orders, wedding invitations and writing children's reports at school! I had a good night last week at a Christmas Night at a golf club in Dumfries selling Christmas cards plus other occasion ones so had a busy time getting them prepared.
However, here's Tilda again, sitting on Christmas presents this time!

Dolly Mama 50th

Hi, managed to blog again at last! Have been really busy at work along with card orders and wedding samples. Going to the Wedding Show at the SECC later today to see my son's stand - he's in a band and hoping to play more weddings and functions. I'll also suss out any wedding stationery stands as I'd like to have a go at that too.

Today's card is for my SIL, Elaine, who's 50 today. Happy Birthday!!!!

Disney Card

A 40th card for a Dad of 3 boys who had a great holiday in Florida this year!

A Scottish Lady

Was asked to do a 50th card with a Scottish twist to send to Australia. I used Barbara Gray's elegant lady and gave her a tartan dress! Hope it fits the bill!

A Cat for Cariss

My favourite stamp again, this time in pink, black and white, another of my favourite colour combos. This time for my DS's girlfriend who has a wee cat. She often complains that she can never find things in shops with her name on them, hence the personalisation!

18th Card

Today's card is for a lovely girl whose Mum very sadly died suddenly a few weeks ago. My heart goes out to her as she'll miss her terribly on her 18th Birthday.

Ist Birthday Shaun!

Today's cards are a selection I made for my friend's grandson, Shaun for his first Birthday for different family members to give. The little turtle is my favourite!

Peeping Angel

This has to be one of my all time favourite stamp sets, I just love playing with them! Coloured with Twinkling H2o's and sparkled with Diamond Stickles.

Cute Robin

I made a batch of these in a couple of different colour schemes, this is the blue and white snowy one! It's from a free digi image I thought was just so cute! I think this one will be the card for the children in my class this year.

Wedding Cards

Two wedding cards today- one for the happy couple and one for the parents of the bride. The littl;e bride and groom are from Lili of the Valley and the wedding cake is done with embossing paste and then sprinkled with glamour dust.

Thought it was time Bella came out for a play! Another clean and simple one as a twin for yesterday's! I have decoupaged the bags.

70th Wedding Anniversary!

Two wedding Anniversary cards today - a Golden Wedding and a 70th, Platinum! What a special anniversary. I used Fred and Ginger from Joanna's Hollywood CD as they were big at the time.

Wee Christmas Birdies

Well, here are the wee birdies again - this time for Christmas! The paper I have used is My Mind's Eye Wonderful Winter glittered papers which I love using. It's such a good quality and I love the contemporary feel to them, and of course many of them are not just for Christmas! The ones with text are The Night Before Christmas.

Farewell to a Golfer

This was a commission I had from a dear friend who has just lost her uncle. He and her Dad were great golfing buddies and she wanted cards for her cousins to depict the two of them playing golf in heaven - the family are all sure that's what the two of them will be doing up there to their hearts' content!

...and a partridge in a pear tree

Had to use this wee bird for a Christmas card, just love it. I know it's not a partridge, but....hey ho! Been asked to do a stall at a lady's Christmas night at a golf club in November, so it's full steam ahead with Christmas cards now!

THAT Stamp!

A Christmas Carol by Papermania - I have wanted that stamp for such a long time and eventually tracked one down in April without having to pay a silly price for it. Anyway, I was bitterly disappointed when it arrived as it had not been mounted straight on its wooden block and there seemed to be a dip in the middle and I couldn't get a good impression from it. Well, I took the bull by the horns yesterday and put it in the microwave to get the rubber off then remounted it straight and used a stamping mat underneath, and hey presto, we have a card! I used a Brilliance inkpad which gives a lovely sheen to the image. I have kept the card very simple to let the stamp do the talking. What do you think?

Made this for a Motherwell supporter from the Paper Nation decoupage sheets. You just colour the hat and scarf to suit the team!

A Cool Ride

Most of you know by now that I'm addicted to the Whimsy Wings of Hope stamp - well here is their Christmas horse, "Cool Ride" so I've made a wee stack of these over the week end anticipating a few sales! Once again, I am so in love with him, what do you think? The photos do not do justice to the sparkles I have used.

First day at school for the children today, looking forward to meeting my new P2 class.

I love doing this decoupage, it's very simple but effective and lends itself to lots of different occasions.

Spent yesterday in the garden clearing up etc, hoping to sit in it and enjoy the sunshine today!

Bags of Cards

Well, here it is, the last batch for a while - back to school today, lol!

I've used the Quickutz bag die for these little clean and simple cards, once again a bag for every occasion - we have Bags of Luck, Bags of Birthday Wishes, Bags of Get Well Wishes, Bags of Thanks, Special Delivery, Bags of Joy for a boy and a girl.

A Summer Garden

I made this for my sil's Mumwho loves her garden and couldn't resist another easel card!

Off to the Edinburgh Festival today with Claire. We never pre-book anything, just turn up and see what we fancy and quite often dash from venue to venue and drink in all the atmosphere.

A Little Bird Told Me...

I've had this tree embossing folder for a while and haven't done much with it, will be using it much more now with my wee bird punch!

Today we have A little bird told me... it's your birthday, you've not been well, it's your anniversary, you're engaged, you have a baby boy, you have a granddaughter, you've moved!
