Made this for my SIL 50th. Love using lots of clashy colours for Dolly Mama images. Hubby busy painting sitting room - thought I'd escape for a bit, going to do some ironing now, got to look busy!!! lol

Communion Card

Was asked to do a couple of First Communion cards for the same person and found it quite difficult as I'm not a religious person. Anyway, came up with this idea and it went down well, so will keep it in mind for the fiture.

A scorching hot day here, went to buy plants for my tubs this morning, hopefully plant them later when it's cooler!

Hello Again!

At last, managed to blog again! After being stranded in Tenerife last month for an extra week, I have been so busy at work, both catching up with myself and the usual report writing for this last term and planning the next term's work, also Parents' Night looming next week, so trying to tidy up the classroom etc. I've also been inundated with card orders, seem to be lots of weddings this year! A colleague at work had a baby grandson last week so I did a selection of cards for the staff to give. Here's the one I gave her. Graphics are by DAISIE.

Hola! Back Home Eventually!

Hi, all, glad to be back again! Went to Tenerife for a week a fortnight ago. Stayed at the lovely Vulcano Hotel and had a great week recharging the old batteries then could not fly home because of all the volcanic disruption everywhere. We tried to treat it like another week's holiday but got quite stressed out not being able to return to my work on Monday. We realised that it was beyond our control and just tried to enjoy another week in the sun courtesy of Thomas Cook - at least it didn't cost us anything but we had to kind of live from day to day not knowing when we would return and wondering if we'd be better to try to get ome or just sit it out. So glad we stayed put when we saw all the hassle lots of people had trying to get home.
Anyway, back to work tomorrow and need to start getting the creative juices flowing again and get some cards made!

Footie Boy

Ohh, it's turned cold here again today, and the rain's on now. Hope it picks up for tomorrow - we are taking the children at school out to do the Sport Relief mile so we'd like it to be at least dry!

Easter Cutie

It's official - I AM addicted to easel cards!!!! It's the first thing I think of when I'm given a commission now! This is for a friend's baby Grandson in the States, I think it's a real cute image.
